Located in the old White Star Market building along Government Street, Tap 65 is an upscale, casual bar and grill. Tap 65’s aesthetic celebrates the Indian culture and cuisine through the custom-built interior in details, graphics, and specialty lighting. A niche concept, Tap 65 offers ‘65’ types of alcohol that can be rotated in and out when wanted, utilizing a state-of-the-art self-serve beverage center. The second of its kind to be built by Plus One
Design|Construction, the personal digital purchasing system creates an individualized, seamless experience for customers to enjoy and sample beverages as they choose.

The Jolie Building was originally constructed in the mid-1800s and later served as a prominent auto dealership for downtown Baton Rouge. This building is listed on the Louisiana Register for Historic Buildings. Plus One was tasked with gutting the previous two tenants on the ground floor and upgrading to provide a continuous, two hour fire rated occupancy separation, new mechanical systems and complete upgrades to the plumbing and electrical systems. During this period, the tenant, Jolie Pearl, signed the lease on these spaces for their new restaurant concept. Plus One was hired to design their concept, paying particular attention to displaying as much of the historical character of the building as possible. pecial emphasis was given to the reclaimed bead board and pressed tin ceilings to give the space a unique character that pays homage to its historical roots.

An elevated take on a neighborhood pizzeria, this Dallas pizza and martini concept is a clash of genres, mixing relaxed sophistication and vibrant elegance. A part of the architectural team, Plus One worked through schematic design, design development and construction documentation to fully develop the owner’s concept and aesthetic to balance the restaurant’s energized interiors with a desired Brooklyn-inspired motif in downtown Dallas.
With both indoor and outdoor seating, the restaurant’s design elements trail out of the dining room onto a covered al fresco dining patio, allowing Poco Fiasco to take advantage of the temperate Dallas evenings while ensuring a cozy place to enjoy a slice during cooler months.

After receiving construction bids well beyond the owner’s budget, the project architect reached out to Plus One Design|Construction to see if we could creatively use our architectural and construction expertise to decrease the price of the project while keeping the client’s vision in place. Plus One resolved overly expensive solutions with creative and more economical options to successfully renovate this existing strip mall space into a food artisan haven. Equipped with a full student engaged teaching and demonstration area, this space boasts both a retail shop and classroom setting.

In the world of upscale dining, the environment is just as critical as the menu. We design and construct bespoke spaces that captivate guests from the moment they walk through the door.
For fast-casual and QSR brands, efficiency and durability are the ultimate metrics of success. We build high-performance spaces designed to maximize throughput and reinforce your brand identity.
